To me, TIG is a place for us to share information and ideas, to raise our voice and get involved in the world's issues. In other words, it acts on our awareness and connect us together. Once we are together, whether we do something or not is totally up to us. In other words, TIG is a mean for inspiring people to achieve their goals, it's definitely not all that we need. After reading the book, "The Irresistible Revolution" by Shane Claiborne, I discovered that world peace is possible but it requires us to change the way we live our lives, the way we take in our surroundings, and the way we experience the world around us. Basically I am inspired by people around me, especially those who are close to me. My family members are the closest of all people. Friends and other relatives also contribute significantly. Not forgetting great people of the past and present like Martin Luther King, Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo, Isaac Newton,Nelson Mandela, and many more.
